CI3 Applied Leadership Lab
A mentored, project-based learning program where emerging leaders, newcomer professionals, and career transitioners contribute to real CI3 delivery work and build portfolio-ready evidence.
The Lab is currently closed. Applications are not open.
Learning by delivering
Participants support CI3 event planning, stakeholder communication, content operations, sponsorship activity, registration, logistics, research, and reporting.
Work is scoped against one of the year's three cohorts, March, July or November, with a named role and supervisor.
Practice Canadian professional expectations, project documentation, stakeholder communication, and reflective leadership.
Leave with role, deliverables, contribution record, learning hours, feedback, and approved portfolio artifacts.
The promise is precise: CI3 provides mentored, documented Canadian project experience through real event and platform delivery work. The Lab does not guarantee employment, immigration benefit, credential acceptance, paid work, or employer recognition.
Three pathways
The Lab runs for one year as three cohorts: March, July and November. Each pathway is a number of those cohorts. Prices will be announced when the Lab reopens.
One cohort of the year, March, July or November, for beginners, students, newcomer professionals, and career transitioners testing project delivery.
Two cohorts of the year: a leadership progression from contributor toward workstream lead and project management responsibility.
The full year: all three cohorts, March, July and November, and a complete annual portfolio.
Your record of work
The portfolio is not a generic completion receipt. It records the work a participant actually performed and the review it received.
Project assignments, milestone status, learning hours, and supervisor context stay connected.
Charters, trackers, meeting notes, risk logs, communications, research, reports, and reflections.
Use verified evidence to strengthen a résumé, portfolio, interview example, and professional narrative.
Applications
Applications are not open, and the Lab is not on sale. When it reopens, it will run for one year as three cohorts, March, July and November, and prices will be announced then.
When applications open, they are reviewed for fit, learning goals, availability, and the supervision CI3 can responsibly provide.
